Trainings & Capacity Development – BNPMC & Partner Staff
The technical nature of the nutrition program and the limited number of experienced (nutrition specific) people calls for rigorous training and capacity building initiatives. An important function of the BNPMC is to technically strengthen the nutrition program in terms of building capacities of the key staff and partners for an effective service delivery and to enable the program (Nutrition Cell) in evolving as premier technical body for all nutrition related matters in the province.
The trainings (Institutional Strengthening component of BNPMC) fall under a wide range of categories including

ü Field visits and experience sharing

Government Financial Rules (GFR)
Since the inception of the BNPMC the trainings have been conducted under various aforementioned categories for the provincial as well the district level staff.
In the first six months of implementation a total number1,576 health staff and NGO field staff have been trained (327 Male and 1,249 Female).
